Gwinnett Swim Families:
We are excited to resume all of our lessons June 1st. We want you to know that the safety of your family and our staff is of utmost importance. We have implemented new procedures that allow us to open safely.
Any person that has tested positive for Covid-19, has flu-like symptoms, or is feeling unwell, will not be permitted in the building.
Only one parent/guardian/caretaker may attend with the student that is participating in a lesson. If possible, please leave other family members and siblings at home.
All persons, including staff and students, will be digitally scanned with an infrared thermometer prior to entering the building.
All persons are required to sanitize hands upon entering the facility.
All staff members will be wearing face masks and/or clear face shields. We encourage parents/caretakers to wear face masks while in the facility.
All parents/caretakers must wear a face mask while on the pool deck, or you may wait in the waiting area if you prefer to not wear a mask.
All swimmers should come DRESSED for lessons as changing rooms are temporarily unavailable during this time.
All persons will enter through the front entry and exit the building through the designated side exits from the pool deck.
The waiting area and pool deck have been redesigned to allow ample social distancing between seating. Seating has been arranged into stations that correspond to stations on the pool deck.
The pool has been divided into stations to provide ample spacing between students.
Each pool station will be disinfected between each student.
All frequently touched surfaces and seating in the waiting area and pool area will be cleaned between each family.
To monitor the cleanliness of the restrooms, access will be given upon request.
All Open Lap Swim attendees must call in advance to reserve a lane. Open Lap Swim is limited to 1 hour.
We look forward to seeing you soon! If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us by email or phone.
